Founded in 1998 by officers of the French merchant navy, Compagnie Ponant belongs to the CMA-CGM group. She quickly specialized in exceptional voyages through areas inaccessible to large ships. It offers unusual destinations such as the polar circles or the Red Sea.
First French shipowner of cruise liners, the company has a fleet of 5 luxury ships. Their dimensions on a human scale allow you to stop in the most remote ports on the planet, for an authentic experience.
Accommodating between 60 and 260 passengers, these luxury yachts offer space and privacy to their privileged passengers. Le Ponant is a majestic 3-mast with slender lines. It subtly combines the charm of a sailboat with the comfort of a yacht. In a refined and elegant setting, these cruises favor calm and relaxation. They are more for adults, but some ships offer a babysitting service.
The company is distinguished by the very successful design of its ships, resulting from the best French know-how.
